As
you approach Cambridge on the A603, you'll come to a junction
with the M11 - go straight on, taking the 2nd exit off the roundabout,
following signs for Cambridge.
Once over the M11 you'll come to another roundabout junction -
again go straight on, taking the 2nd exit off the roundabout,
following signs for Cambridge.
Follow this road (Barton Road) for about a mile and a half. After
the Hat and Feathers Pub on your right, you'll come to a traffic-light
junction where the road bears round sharply to the left.
Soon after you'll come to a roundabout, with a Shell petrol station
on the left. Turn right here (2nd exit).
At the top of this road (Fen Causeway) you'll come to a mini-roundabout
- turn left and then immediately get in the right-hand lane and
turn right at the next mini-roundabout. This is Lensfield Road.
You'll pass the Snug bar on your right and the Lensfield Hotel.
At the traffic-light crossroads ahead get in the left hand lane
and go straight over.
Follow either of the car park directions below.
For
the Queen Anne Terrace Car Park:
You'll pass the Gonville Hotel on your right and a large open
grass area on your left (Parker's Piece). Go over a pedestrian
crossing and after three small traffic islands, look for a central
lane for turning right into the Queen Anne Terrace Car Park.
Once parked, turn right coming out of the car park onto Gonville
Place and pass Parkside Swimming Pool. At the crossroads continue
straight on. This is East Road. Pass the Zion Baptist Church on
your right, cross over Bradmore Street and walk past Anglia Ruskin's
entrance. Turn right down Broad Street (adjacent to Anglia Ruskin)
and walk down to the end of the street. Turn right into the campus.
Walk straight ahead and enter the rear of the Mumford Building
on the right through the shared Theatre/Library entrance.
For
the Grafton (East) Car Park:
You'll pass the Gonville Hotel on your right and a large open
grass area on your left (Parker's Piece).
You'll then pass Queen Anne Terrace Car Park on your right and
as you approach the next traffic-light crossroads ahead, you'll
see the Fire Station facing you on the left corner. Go straight
on. You are now on East Road.
Almost immediately you will see the Zion Baptist Church on your
right. The next building on your right is Anglia Ruskin University.
Continue on East Road. As you approach the next traffic lights
ahead there is a slip-lane to the left into the Grafton (East)
Car Park.
Once parked, turn right coming out of the car park onto East Road.
Further down, cross the road at the pedestrian crossing (by Blockbuster
Video) and continue along East Road. Turn left into Broad Street
(adjacent to Anglia Ruskin) and walk down to the end of the street.
Turn right into the campus. Walk straight ahead and enter the
rear of the Mumford Building on the right through the shared Theatre/Library
entrance.
