Accessibility

seating for wheelchair users

The Mumford Theatre's seating is fully tiered and for this reason there is limited provision for wheelchair users.
If you have difficulty with stairs please let us know when you are booking your tickets.

The theatre can accommodate up to five wheelchair users for each performance in seat positions A7 - 16.

In order to maintain access for as many wheelchair users as possible, accompanying customers may be asked to take seats in rows behind the wheelchair positions (e.g. in seats B7 - 17) rather than in row A.

Toilet facilities are by the theatre entrance.

Disabled parking may be possible on-site for Blue Badge holders, subject to availability. If you wish to request on-site disabled parking, please telephone the University's Facilities Helpdesk on 0845 196 6464. Otherwise, there is level access to the theatre from the campus entrance in Broad Street.

induction loop

An Induction Loop is installed in the theatre. Switch your hearing aid to the 'T' setting.
